BT05 has managed to yank a fairly large amount of information off of the Hakkar and CEF servers, due to some skilled hacking and some luck. The volume of data is enormous, as when you were dragging it out of the server you were worried more about volume than you were about choice. Once that was done, you were able to cherry-pick the best of it. Here it is.

* You've managed to pull a fairly complete personnel roster for the upper echelons of Hakkar, Inc. This in many cases includes living accomodations and personal schedules, and is complete enough to even include the same information for the Chairman, Mazir de Souza. He actually lives within his offices at Hakkar's arcology.

* In the same set of data, you've managed to pull up scheduled meetings with subsidiary companies. Several of these include in the name rosters:
- Lieutenant General Uthres Vars
- First Commander Jondrens of Ephesus
And your favourite,
- Commandant Krynn Rasuul

* You've got some fragmented data on some of the projects that Hakkar is doing for the CEF.
- They are selling parts at discounted prices the Moscow Heavy Industries for the construction of hovertanks, and at the same time selling the tools with which to do repairs on them.
- Hakkar is providing a secondary, low-security communication network throughout Gomorrah for CID use, in co-operation with the Cat's Eye News Network.
- Hakkar is providing small vehicular and support weapons to the CEF through Mariss Milspec.
- Hakkar is providing (at reasonable cost) atmospheric systems that are being installed on new CEF constructions on Monolith Station.
- Hakkar is providing the 5th fleet of the CEF with a new class of pocket nuclear submarine.

* You also have some data on projects that are currently under negotiation.
- Hakkar is in negotiations to sell large volumes of atmospheric processors to Utopia, of the same sort that the CEF are installing on their larger starships.
- Hakkar is also selling these same processors through the gate to Earth.
- The NEC is in discussions with Hakkar to provide several large scale orbital hydroponics stations for reasons unknown.
- Hakkar is in negotiations with the CEF to expand the current Arclight station arrangement. It will double the number of stations in orbit, at Hakkar's cost for the most part.

At the same time, you've captured some CEF specific information. Here is a volume of it.

* The CEF has recently expanded their security greatly, with a focus on close-orbital assets. This, they hope, is going to significantly reduce their reaction time and ensure a tighter net of control while at the same time removing their security assets from the threat of terrorism. Which is funny.
- Along with these blanket statements, you've gotten a declassifed version fo the CEF doctrine for holding Caprice. Not a lot of meat on those bones, but it features drones with drop pods, squadrons of TAAFs and TAEFs on hot standby, and fast-drop units in Tarantula landers, all waiting in low orbit. These posts are defended by Arclight station defenses, which are also being beefed up.
- You got a fun little report on your engagement at Manchurian Exoterran's #2 refinery. The CEF considered the engagement a failiure and are planning on dropping their drones in a wider configuration as a result.

* Of more interest to Terranova, you snatched a copy of the 8th Fleets' current status and operational plans. Their space assets are mostly rebuilt and they have been refreshed with personnel from EGL and a few 3rd Fleet assets. They are still waiting on equipment, however, though they predict only two more Terranovan cycles and they will be ready to roll. Otherwise, they're waiting.
- The 8th Fleets' TO&E features more battle frames and lighter tanks, though all of the equipment is new - no HT68's of any sort. They also feature a newly redesigned HPC-74 to replace the old HPC-64; and also will be carrying approximately five hundred modified Utopian exo-skeletons for special forces operations.
- The 8th Fleet is currently reconstructing a new battle doctrine to go along with its equipment. You have several versions of an offensive and defensive doctrine sheet. It features aggressive control of space from posts that are going to be built on Terranova's moon, fast combined arms actions, and a focus on taking city-states. Otherwise they're going to be sticking to regular CEF doctrine.
- The 8th fleet has been sending numerous representatives through the Utopia gate, but the details of which are unclear.

On top of all this information, you have a small ocean of potentially useful facts. I will allow this data to be represented as a shared perk which I will call Property (Intel Resources) VII. Seven points in it. You may choose at any time to expend a point of these resources to gain a +1 on an applicable Trivia roll, or some other KNO based roll provided it makes sense - I get to determine what makes sense.

Any questions?

1 Intel Pool point spent. 6 remaining.

<@Jester> Can I spend one of the 7 points right here, to see if there are specifics about what launches the drop pods and how they're supplied?
<@Savant> sure. Investigation/CRE cpx 2
<@Jester> Someone had to build the drop pods, someone had to build what launches them. And someone's gotta supply replacement drop pods for the ones used at the refinery.

Launch facilities are built by Moscow Heavy Industries, and are a modular station which is occasionally mounted directly onto Arclight stations. They are also run independantly as well, as the "kick" from launching the drop pods is apparently rather significant and can misalign the arclight cannons. The drop pods themselves are apparently fired from a mass driver cannon similar tot he very large one that was under construction for hurling asteroids at Terranova. Plans for the stations were provided by Moscow Heavy Industries offices at the direction of the CEF 3rd fleet.

Drop pods were built by Caprice Ships Interstellar, and are simple disposable devices. They have little ability to modify their trajectory once in flight, and are mostly composed of protective devices to ensure that their payload isn't damaged upon arrival. They are constructed at CSI's main factory line on Alpha level of Gomorrah, not far from Gallot Hub.

The drones themselves are provided by Gallot Caprice under contract by Moscow Heavy Industries.

I spent one of the seven points (yes, unilaterally, sorry) to learn who manufactures the drop pods, how they're supplied, and what launches them.

If someone wants to yell at me for spending one of the group points without discussing it with the group, let me know. Wink But I wanted to give Savant the maximum possible time to plan for this Thursday's game.
